Another great trip. Always been a fan of the park. The newest show Bourne was fantastic a solid replacement. Also feel like universal are doing a better job of allowing you access to the characters...

Universal Orlando Resorts truly are a special place and I can understand why it’s such a popular tourist destination. Hospitality is a strength from the time you check in to the time you bid the property farewell. We stayed in The Cabana Bay Resort and immediately felt thrust back into a mid century modern space that was tastefully done. The room accommodations were pleasant and everything down to the soap, shampoo, and conditioner matched the aesthetic of the period. The beds are comfortable and sleep well. We smelled a moderate strength chlorine sent which conveyed that the room was clean but not an ideal sent for someone coming to spend a few days. The food selection had appeal to the diverse clientele but ends at short order food. No specific restaurants to speak of but three bars offer an opportunity for people to connect in the lobby or near the pools on the property. The price for the food is what you would expect for a resort so be prepared to drop $80 for a family of four for a basic lunch/dinner. The pool and the lazy river did the trick for my son as he didn’t want to leave every time we went down to relax. Some of our neighbors were smoking something they weren’t supposed to and our family could smell it through the vents for a while. Overall, what we payed for our stay, I would do it again.

Universal is really trying to make the experience safe and I appreciate that so much. Had a great time! The Islands of Adventure side was my personal favorite. Volcano Bay was also fantastic. Highly recommend the Toasted Coconut cocktail there which I enjoyed between long sessions in the lazy rivers. The staff overall in all areas of the Universal parks were incredibly friendly and helpful. Customer service was top notch. Thank you for providing a weekend getaway after such a long period of isolation.
