  • One of the best dog park I’ve been to. My samoyed was the happiest as there is a lot of shade and a river for hot days! And to top it of a lot of dogs were there to play!!

  • This is an excellent place for social dogs who want the company of others and to run and play. If you dog is not crazy about others in its species, go somewhere else for fun.

  • Biggest dog park I've been to in the dmv. Great place to walk and have your dog interact with others. Despite it being cold today on a Sunday it was filled and very active. There are two areas. Small dog park 25 pounds and under (although if your dog is well behaved and you can control them then you can take them in..otherwise don't). The big dog park is the one that has very ample space and has a pavement walkway along it. There are tables. Dog poop bags. Benches. Even a bulletin board that you can place flyers on. For example a go fund me.
  • My dog loves this dog park! There are dogs of all ages, sizes, activity levels and interests. My dog has been coming here since he was 6 months old, 30lbs (now he’s 8months, 40lbs) He loves to run and be chased. This park is so big so if there aren’t any dogs interested in playing where you are, you can move on to another spot. The weekends/week nights it can be really crowded and crazy so make sure your dog is comfortable in that type of environment. I like going around 11am-1pm during the week. If you’re new to the dog park scene, definitely take it slow at first. If it has rained recently there will be mud, so be prepared for that!
