Bergen — 1 day

A city famed for its underground music scene, Bergen also serves as the gateway to the fjords of Norway's western coastline.
On the 12th (Sat), appreciate the extensive heritage of Bryggen, then make a trip to Fish Market, then take in the awesome beauty at Mount Floyen and the Funicular, and finally get engrossed in the history at Hanseatic Museum and Schøtstuene.

Amsterdam, The Netherlands to Bergen is an approximately 5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train, bus, and ferry. Expect slightly colder weather when traveling from Amsterdam in March: highs in Bergen hover around 6°C, while lows dip to 0°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 12th (Sat) so you can catch the flight to Tromso.
