A rare example of well-preserved Ottoman style, Berat is a World Heritage Site.
Take a break from Berat with a short trip to Church of St Mary in Fier, about 1h 20 min away. There's still lots to do: learn about winemaking at Nurellari Winery, don't miss a visit to Bulevardi Republika, take in the views from Gorica Bridge, and take in the spiritual surroundings of The King Mosque.
