"Situated near the massive peaks of the Aiguilles Rouges and, most notably, the Aiguille du Midi, Chamonix is one of the oldest ski resorts in France and known as the Alpine Capital of the World.

Morzine

Morzine is a commune in the Haute-Savoie department and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of south-eastern France. Family-friendly places like River Rafting & Tubing and Le Cirque du Fer a Cheval will thrill your kids. Venture out of the city with trips to Evian-les-Bains (Lac Leman & Eglise de l'Assomption), Funiculaire de Thonon-les-Bains (in Thonon-les-Bains) and Jardin des Cinq Sens (in Yvoire). Well-known for its winter sports and holiday destinations, including some of the country's best ski resorts, Haute-Savoie is a department in the Rhône-Alpes region bordering both Switzerland and Italy.
