Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen
Displaying works ranging from Rembrandt and van Gogh to edgier modern pieces, Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen represents a large repository of artwork, particularly that by Dutch artists. Originally founded in 1849, the facility is also one of the Netherlands' oldest. Explore its extensive holdings and range of themed exhibits, focusing on famous figures such as the Old Dutch masters, Salvador Dali, and native artist Piet Mondriaan. In addition to works of art, you can view up-close a number of objects documenting Holland's history from medieval times through its famed Golden Age to the present. Rotating traveling exhibits make up much of the museum's collection at any given time, so be sure to check the website to see what's on at the time of your visit. It couldn't be easier to arrange your visit to Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen and many more Rotterdam attractions: make an itinerary online using Inspirock's Rotterdam visit planner.

Actually it is open now, but there is construction works near by. It is nice gallery with modern shop. You should buy a ticket in advance because it’s popular place. After 8:30 guard can let you on the rooftop for free. There are restaurant and nice view point. You can watch cool light show after sunset near by entrance.

An incredible piece of art! We only passed by on our last day in Rotterdam, yet it was one of the most exciting places we had seen during our trip. It is mind blowing to look at and you only understand it when you’re actually there. Pictures are not enough.
