Constructed by King William of Orange and Mary of England, Paleis Het Loo represents the family residence of a well-known royal line. Originally constructed in the late 17th century, the palace boasts Baroque architecture, extensive grounds, and a spacious garden in the rear. Visit the complex and join a guided tour, which requires a reservation, or simply follow the self-guided tour laid out by the museum's visitor guide. You'll view many personal articles and decorative items belonging to the House of Orange-Nassau adorning the interior of the buildings--they amount to some 160,000 objects, ranging from paintings and sculptures to personal photographs and clothes. Afterwards, kick back with a drink or a snack at one of the on-site terraced restaurants. The palace Het Loo is very much up and running in all its splendour. The formal French-designed gardens are magnificent, the fountain is beautiful, the colonnes are a lovely space to have a cold...

Beautiful gardens and well maintained palace with interesting audio tours. Yes the work is still ongoing to finish the front of the palace but still worth a visit. Don’t miss out on visiting the roof, especially on a beautiful day - the entrance is a bit hidden so I missed it the first time, had to ask for directions to find it.

Beautiful palace with beautifully restored interiors. The gardens are also breathtaking. Fully rated spoil grapes shop full of nonsense, where you can't even buy a postcard or a magnet with a palace. They don't even have any text or brochure here, just audio guides. The app could not be downloaded from the Play Store.
