  • I was with my family on rented bikes, but it turned out to be a stupid idea. The terrain there quite complex, so you rather go on foot

  • After seeing photos of this place we decided we’d walk up there. It’s a fair walk in the heat but nothing too difficult. As well as the little castle up there was a restaurant were we had a well...

  • So glad they’ve kept this stunning peninsula a nature reserve. The bays/beaches on both sides are ringed with resorts, but the peninsula itself is wonderfully preserved. We went off the path almost immediately and just picked our way around the rocky shore. It’s fairly small, so can’t really get lost. There’s also a restaurant with toilets etc by the tower. A nice way to spend a few hours.
  • Very nice place for a walk in a wild sand dune system. Rocky coast and beautiful sea views over the Eastern part of the island. Excellent for birding: Hoopoe, Stone-curlew, Thekla lark, Red-legged partridge, Sardinian warbler, Woodchat shrike, etc.
