A unique piece of history is waiting at Banos Arabes. Check out these baths dated from the 10th century, and they’re virtually all that remain of the Arab city of Medina Mayurqa. Historians believe the baths were once part of a nobleman’s house. The structure is a dome with interior columns and round windows. If you take a close look at the columns, you’ll notice each of them are different in size. Outside, enjoy a moment of peace in the secluded garden. You can even have a picnic lunch here if you bring food and drink. Choose to start, finish, or center your holiday on a trip to Banos Arabes by using our Palma de Mallorca trip itinerary maker app.

  • At first I’ve asked myself “why’d pay for that?”. I still haven’t found the answer. My rate is 2/5. 1 star for the paper in the toilet. 0,5 star for the garden outside.

  • The Arab Baths are an attraction well worth visiting in Palma. It took us quite a while to walk there, but we were glad we made the effort. I loved the textures and colours of the old walls with their archways and the water pitchers on display. The gardens are really beautiful, and a wonderful place to rest awhile before returning to the city centre.
  • People are not friendly, we got a check and send away without a reason. Probably our table was reserved? I feel like she could tell us instead of waving away. The fruit drink was not cold, coffee was good.
