Visit the burial site of the Liechtenstein Princely family at Cathedral of St. Florin. Friedrich von Schmidt built this parish church in 1874 on the site of earlier medieval foundations, and it features colorful stained-glass windows over the altar. Look for the graves of Prince Franz Joseph II--the father of present ruling Prince--and his wife, Countess Georgina von Wilczek. The Neo-Gothic church is the center of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Vaduz and has held the status of cathedral since 1997. • We were not hear on a Sunday so did not attend Mass, but we did pray there. The Cathedral is close to the touristy main area of Vaduz. Its main feature is very attractive stained glass...

  • Pretty church on the main strip of town. It was open to public to go in and appreciate the gorgeous stain glass windows. No entrance fee.

  • For a smaller cathedral we enjoyed the stain glass windows, and continued our family tradition of candle lighting and prayer in every cathedral we visit. Easy walking from here to other attractions and restaurants. We went on Father’s Day and got to enjoy some of a large cycling race which finished near the cathedral.
  • Beautiful church in a small town of Vaduz. It may not be as glorious as other famous church but this is Vaduz, it’s lovely here!
