One of the most peaceful and beautiful cemeteries I have visited. It is truly well cared for by the local Sicilians, for which I will always be thankful. Every time I am deployed to Sicily I make a 'pilgrimage' to this very sacred place, and take time to reflect on the sacrifice of those who lay there and those who served in Italy, and returned home bearing the scars of their service. I remain forever grateful for their dedication and sacrifice, and for the care that Sicily and Italy have shown for our fallen. We Will Remember Them.
