Literally translating to ‘The Navel of the World’, Le Nombril du Monde is a one-of-a-kind theater developed by director Thierry Buenafuente in the year 1990. The theater has since been the venue of nearly 150 shows, entertaining a cumulative total of over 800.000 viewers. The creator and director, Buenafuente, has also conducted a number of training workshops for aspiring actors and performers. The Le Nombril du Monde is particularly known for the comedy shows frequently being performed here. Recently, its director has also opened a professional school of theater.
