At Ocearium du Croisic, the world’s marine creatures glide and sprint through their watery environments. Walk through the underwater tunnel and feel as if you’ve become part of the aquamarine paradise, which is inhabited by exotic fish, rays, and sharks. Then, if you just can’t get enough of those sharp-toothed predators, visit the Australian Shark exhibit. A million liter (264,172 gal) tank is home to these massive kings of the sea. The penguin exhibit offers an amusing counterpoint; in a predator-free environment, watch the tuxedoed birds slide, flap, and play with each other and--if you’re lucky--you. • Great place for a visit with kids, but not only! We were sad that we missed the feeding of the octopus, but thankfully, the penguins are fed twice a day, so that was fun. You can spend 2-3 hours there.
  • Nice place to see and learn something about sealife. Perfect for children too. Has some feeding, a little map to show you around and a little shop where you could buy souvenirs.
