First I would like to emphasis that I frequent spas regularly. The good qualities stopped me from giving them a 3 star. I spent 11 hours at this spa as a birthday gift to myself. I had 5 treatments done, 2 massages, body exfoliation and wrap, facial and mud bath. Every time I make such reservations at a spa I always receive an email confirming the therapists reserved, treatments and the total costs. I never received this information. I was told that they had a problem with their system. The only email I received, after the fact, was just a confirmation for the treatment times This particular spa doesn't give you sandals when you reserve treatments, but they do let you know that on their website.. Their towels are high quality, but their bathrobes no so much. The bathrobes weren't soft and comfy. They felt like if you wash a towel a hundred times without fabric softener, stiff and dry. The showers in the locker room didn't have any hot water. I had to go see the reception concerning it. They acted quickly and resolved the problem. The spa gives you the impression that they have a rooftop terrace with a fireplace, a couple of thermal baths, chairs beds, etc. This is absolutely not true! They did have a rooftop terrace that was open for only 2 weeks since they opened roughly 1 year ago. The staff told me that it was shutdown due to structural issues and problems with their insurance company. The ONLY thermal bath, which was nice btw, is located on a small part of the roof in the back of the hotel. When I went to enter the thermal bath one of the hand railings were loose, very loose!!! This is a new spa and it's already having problems with its infrastructure. When I was in the waiting room for my treatments on the first floor there were 2 maintenance workers, working. Not professional for a tranquil experience that a spa should provided. The therapists at this spa are amazing; however, I felt that the staff were very young and timid. It's a good spa to go too if you're afraid of being temporarily exposed/nude etc. But for those who are not and more experienced with spas, this place is very "beginner" stage. It's good for people with little spa experience. Despite that, I have no complaints about the expertise of the therapists themselves! They're good at what they do!!! Everyone of them were very professional. The jets in the mud bath turned off the minute I sat in it. I had to dry myself off and step out of the room to ask the therapist to turn them back on. Other spas I've attended the therapist stayed in the room to aid getting in the bath and to insure if the water temperature was ok for the client (too hot, too cold), to set the timer of the jets, to provide something to drink, etc. The body wrap, facial and mud bath lasted 3 hours without a bathroom break! So I was not comfortable during the last half of it, but the treatment itself was performed well. They don't have any of the facial machines at this spa. All facials are performed manually. The facial was good, no doubt, but I did expect to have some sort of facial machine used during the treatment. But these are small details and not a complaint. I was overcharged $15 dollars on my total bill but it was an oversight that was promptly corrected after I voiced my concern. I had left $70.00 in tips, in total, paid in cash to the therapists. The $15 overcharge on the final bill was for a tip, which I had already paid. This spa is VERY CLEAN AND SANITARY!!! Unbelievably clean is no word for it! Kudos to the person/s responsible for sanitation at this establishment!!! You deserve a raise! Would I go back? Sure, maybe for a treatment and the sauna's, the thermal bath, etc. All of the facilities are VERY nice btw. I wouldn't book another entire day there because I rather have a more authentic spa experience without all the little hassles and some of the timidness. But these are tiny details; thus, why I give this spa a 4 star review. For a beginners experience to spas, it's a 5 star.
De loin le meilleur soin du visage que j'ai reçu. Les installations sont très propres et le personnel courtois. Le spa est petit mais rien ne manque. Très belle expérience
