  • Definitely a must go if you are visiting Montreal. The amount of history in the city is amazing and there's no better way to experience it than to walk through the old dug up city itself. Amazing that it was preserved for so long. Be prepared to spend hours here as it is very large and informative.
  • Excellent museum for adults and kids. My wife and I visited to specifically see the Peru exhibit and we were not disappointed. Museum is well laid out on several levels. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms very clean. There were activities for kids in the archaeological portions. All of the exhibits were in French and English. Great gift shop. Definitely worth a visit.
