On the northern coast stands Bushiribana Gold Mill Ruins, a remnant from the 19th century gold rush in Aruba. Strong winds from the Caribbean sea power the 1874 structure, and the crumbling mill is now a popular stop on local jeep tours navigating coastal dirt roads. The dramatic backdrop of sea and sand also make it a stunning spot to soak up the scenery on foot. Follow tradition by stacking local stones on the beach and making a wish. • One of our stops on the ATV tour. Impressive structure and use of the natural rock formations. Great views from inside and top. There was a “bathroom “ truck and a food trailer for a drink or snack...

  • Very impressive in the way the building is constructed, the rocks are stacked on top of each other without the use of mortar. When you get to the top of this structure, the view is quite impressive. The steps and paths may be narrow: use caution. The pay toilet is 1 US Dollar or if you are bold enough there is a divot on the western corner where you can relieve yourself behind some low lying walls.
  • We got an ATV for the the day, and we were able to see Aruba our way on our time. For $230 you can have a 2 seat ATV from 9-5 they drop off and pick up at your location. So worth it and fun I met so many people, talked to tourists from land, sea, and plane. A very welcoming Desert location.
