La Aripuca
Familiarize yourself with the rich indigenous culture of the Guarani at La Aripuca. This cultural park serves as a tribute to the ancient Guarani tribes living in Argentina. A central pyramid-like structure designed in the shape of a bird trap (or arapuca) showcases the ingenious use of local resources to build important devices. Take a short guided tour to learn how the Guarani people created their tools, and what they used them for. You can buy genuine local handicrafts made by Guarani people at the park's souvenir stalls. For travelers who use our international travel planner, Puerto Iguazu holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the La Aripuca and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

Entrance was $500 pesos when I visited. It's a great place to spend a slow afternoon. The property is nice and the structures they've created are pretty amazing. The short tour (which they also offered in English) was meaningful and gave enough information to appreciate the property. There is a restaurant on property and souvenir shops.

What an incredible beautiful place. It is absolutely amazing to see the size of the trees humans have destroyed for clearing. And it is noble of this family to have made this place to show the size of the trees that once grew in this tropical forest. It is worth visiting and to explain to children to look after their world
