Pay a get-well-soon visit to recovering animals at Guiraoga. The sanctuary, located near the famous Iguazu Falls, nurses a range of wounded animals back to health, then prepares them for re-entry into the wild. You can see the adorable animals in their natural habitat on a guided tour around the sanctuary, which might be available in English, depending on your guide. Keep an eye peeled out for colorful toucans and parrots as you walk through the park. The money from your entrance ticket goes towards supporting the sanctuary's work. • This is a wildlife conservation and rehabilitation center in Iguazu. The purpose is to release local animals again in the wild. After a nice drive trough the jungle there is a guided tour. Many...

  • Very nice place. I loved to see local birds closely. Some of the animals there have a sad story tho, for an example there is a Tucan which no longer has wings, his previous owner (drugdealer) cut his fur that he would not able to fly away. I'm glad that there are still places where people take a good care of animals.
  • Amazing work from the staff and everyone who takes care of these beautiful animals to preserve endangered species. A good place to reflect on animal abuse. The tour last 1h40mins, AFFORDABLE prices, there is a small kiosk and public toilets.
