Housed in the stately Ferreyra Palace, Museo Evita en el Palacio Ferreyra is worth a visit to see both the architecture and the exhibits held within. The building, a Beaux-arts mansion designed by architect Ernest Sanson from France, was built between 1912 and 1916 as a private residence for a wealthy local doctor, Dr. Ferreyra. In 2005, the government bought the mansion and began renovations to create the museum. Across 12 exhibit halls, the museum displays more than 500 works of art, including pieces by artists such as Pablo Picasso, Francisco Goya, and Gustave Courbet. While admiring the artwork, also take time to appreciate the fine mosaic floors of the palace as you stroll along. You may also find described under the English name Evita Fine Arts Museum. • It is not what it once was, but it is still a very beautiful building that has some beautiful pieces. The cafe is no longer open. All museums in Cordoba are free on Wednesdays, so I recommend you go then.
  • We went there in February, 2023 on the weekend afternoon. At that time, their entrance fee was 250 pesos per person. It was really good time to feel Argentina arts. It made us clam. There were a few people. If you have backpack or big bag, you need to deposit it at the entrance.
