Geographically they're half a world away, but at Jardin Japones, Argentina and Japan come together. Built in 1967 thanks to a donation by the Japanese community of Buenos Aires, the gardens celebrate unity between the two countries, with Japanese and native plant life sharing space in well-manicured perfection. Check out the central lagoon, thriving with carp, and walk across the distinctly Eastern bridges during your stroll around the gardens. The entrance is expensive, there are too many people and it does not fulfill the purpose of relaxation and calm for which it was designed, the decoration is poor and a bit sloppy

Beautiful, dazzling, gorgeous… the garden has an amazing ambiance. There is a somewhat bizarre feeling of Japan meets South America, but at the same time, it is a place to relax amongst the insanity going on in such a gigantic city as Buenos Aires. Time well spent there.

It's a lovely and relaxing garden/park in a busy city. You don't need too much time to go through the park but during nice weather you can spend hours there! If you are into japanese culture you definitely want to check this place out.
