Galerias Pacifico reviews
A very fancy mall with expensive brands and very nice stores like Lacoste, Mac and custom designers as well. The architecture is unique, more a place to view than to shop once it’s way over expensive! more »
Don't forget to check out the top floor of Galerias Pacifico for the various Tango show options here. We saw Pasion de Tango which was marvellous - none of the hype or big expense surrounding other... more »
To be honest, it's a very beautiful shopping mall and I'm glad to report that the architecture has been restored in general. However, it must have been beautiful when it kicked off. Today it is an overcrowded bazaar more in the style of Istanbul's than a wide open mall which allows you to stroll along, see excruciatingly expensive clothes and shoes, bags, sun glasses, make up and so on. I have never felt so crushed by the amount of display booths that line each floor and which prevent one from looking out of these gloriously restored gallerias that line each floor, holding the most expensive and exclusive items in the whole of Buenos Aires. It was the weekend before Christmas. Opening hours were 10 am. I waited outside until that time. When I entered, the Mall was already crowded. It certainly is worth a visit. And cross out Xmas. It's impossible. Enjoy. Go look. It's worth it.
Beautiful mall in a busy part of the city. The glass ceilings are a cool touch. We didn’t spend much time inside just walked around each floor and left, but from what we saw you could definitely spend hours in there and not be bored.
